Founded in 2023, the Oregon Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Food & Wine is a non-profit 501(c)(6) organization created with the mission to celebrate the diverse provisions that make Oregon so unique.
Advance diversity in the wine industry by attracting global attention to Oregon’s AAPI winemaking and culinary talent
Empower the AAPI individuals that make the state diverse and delicious
Educate the public with unconventional food and wine pairings
Support community organizations that promote diversity in the food and wine industry and beyond
In May 2023, we held a two-day food and wine festival, the first annual event of its kind, taking place in the Pacific Northwest during Oregon Wine Month and AAPI Heritage Month. Attendees enjoyed curated bites and pours from AAPI-owned Portland restaurants and Willamette Valley wineries. Plans are underway for our second annual festival.
